Recently I had some chicken tenderloins left over from a huge package we had bought so I decided to whip up a new Stove Top Chicken Parmesan Recipe. We really enjoyed this and I hope you will too. It is fundraising season for that non-profit which means many days of volunteering anywhere from 4-14 hours a day answering phones. I LOVE doing it but I don&#8217;t want my family to suffer when I am extra busy. During fundraising season, I rely on my crockpot more than ever. I love the convenience of making the main part of the meal for my family, even when I&#8217;m not home. To me, using my crockpot to prepare meals is just one way I can bless my family.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I am a wannabe freezer cooker. Right now there are two things holding me back. The first is the fact that I have 2 square feet of kitchen counter prep space (I&#8217;m not exaggerating either, I need a kitchen remodel and expansion!). The second is I need to clean out my freezer. The second reason is easily fixable but the first isn&#8217;t. My friend Kim and I want to work together on freezer meals but she has been in temporary living since March and is currently in a small trailer, so she has no room either. Someday we will have our first freezer cooking prep sessions and I promise to tell you all about it! Until then I have decided to find freezer recipes to try out one at a time so when the time comes for our cooking for a month session, we will know what recipes we want to use. This Creamy Italian Chicken recipe is at the top of my list!</p>
<p>I found the recipe on <a href="http://livingwellspendingless.com" target="_blank"><strong>LivingWellSpendingLess.com</strong></a> a little while ago and it has been calling to me ever since. So I made it last Saturday night when Kim and Bob came over for the #Noseblind Test and to watch The Perfect Summer. It&#8217;s a good night when I can do research for 3 blog posts at one time!</p>

<p>OMG! This recipe has shot to the top of the favorites list! When I made it I froze one bag and baked the other right away. Everyone loved this dish and it was voted in the top 2 dinner recipes I make! In our opinion you must serve this with bread sticks because the sauce is so delicious you want to sop it all up&#8230;or lick your plate!</p>

Pour the jam mixture over the top, reserving half a cup.<br />
Seal bag and marinate in the refrigerator 2-4 hours.<br />
Remove chicken from marinade.<br />
Discard marinade.<br />
Grill chicken over medium heat 8-10 minutes per side. Basting with reserved marinade.</p>

I am truly a beef lover but with meat prices soaring and beef is just crazy right now so I am looking for more chicken recipes to keep us going through the summer. Today&#8217;s recipe is easy and delicious and would be great served over egg noodles or rice.<br />

<p>We all enjoyed this recipe. I liked the sweetness the preserves added to the barbecue sauce. It was good over the egg noodles. I&#8217;ve never thought about cooking with preserves before but stay tuned&#8230;I have another recipe with preserves coming up soon!</p>

I loved our <a href="http://themommaven.com/2014/05/easy-recipes-pesto-ranch-rigatoni/"><strong>Pesto Ranch Rigatoni</strong></a> and <a href="http://wp.me/p3dR7s-2LH"><strong>Mostaccioli</strong> </a>is a family favorite.</p>
<p>I adore a good creamy Alfredo sauce so when I saw this <a href="http://www.plainchicken.com/2010/11/three-cheese-chicken-alfredo-bake.html#_a5y_p=1596504" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><strong>recipe</strong></a> on Pinterest I just had to try it!  This is a great addition to our easy recipes because you just dump the ingredients in a bowl, mix them up, pour it into a pan and bake!<br />

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We LOVE good wings but they are getting so expensive we just aren&#8217;t able to go out as often as we used too. I had always thought that making wings at home would be too difficult, until I made the <a href="http://themommaven.com/2014/01/easy-recipes-cajun-buffalo-wings/"><strong>Cajun Buffalo Wings</strong></a> earlier this year. Hubby was working the other night and I didn&#8217;t feel like going to the grocery store so I dug around in the kitchen to see what I had on hand. I had 2lbs of frozen chicken wings so I decided to defrost them and create something new. I went to Pinterest and read several wing recipes then when it was time to start dinner, I created this recipe&#8230;and it was good!</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This recipe is another one that has been on my <a href="http://www.pinterest.com/mommaven/recipes-i-want-to-try/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><strong>&#8220;Recipes I Want to Try&#8221;</strong></a> Pinterest Board for a loooong time. The main reason it was there is because it called for shredded chicken and&#8230;I didn&#8217;t know how to make shredded chicken! Finally, I did a Google search and found several posts and videos on how to accomplish this task. It was so simple I felt stupid! I don&#8217;t want you to feel stupid so I have added the steps for how to make shredded chicken to this recipe. You can use the shredded chicken for tons of recipes once you learn this simple technique so I hope you find this addition to the recipe useful.</p>

<p>Now, on to today&#8217;s recipe&#8230;I grew up eating stuffing with chicken and pork chops. I&#8217;m not sure why but I never fix stuffing with meals for my family. When I saw this pin from <strong><a href="http://www.pinterest.com/pin/94575660899131487/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">The Pursuit of Happiness</a> </strong>I knew I had to try this recipe. It is a SIMPLE 4 ingredient crockpot recipe and it is delicious.</p>
