I love bar-be-cue chicken but I hate the mess. Last week I was trolling Pinterest and I came across a recipe for Sweet Baby Ray’s Crockpot Chicken that Mary had pinned. The recipe actually links back to a page on Foodfolio.com. I made this recipe for last week’s small group dinner and it was a huge it, and will become a regular in my easy recipes dinner rotation.
I whipped it up in less than 10 minutes Sunday before church, set it to start cooking at 11:00am and it was ready for small group at 5:00pm!

We served the chicken with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob and it was delicious. It was gone before I could take any pictures of the meal on anyone’s plate! The original recipe called for 1 tsp of red pepper flakes but I thought that would be over kill. We all agreed there was just the right amount of kick to the sauce with only 1/4 tsp of the red pepper flakes added. The crockpot cleaned up quickly without really having to scrub, which makes this recipe even better
