Last week I was at Type-A Conference in Asheville, NC. One of the things I like about Type-A Con is that there are lots of great sessions to attend and learn about the business of social media, but there is also ample time to network and just hang out with friends. Most of that hanging out is done during meal times and at the evening parties. This year I truly feel like I moved from online acquaintance to true friend with a few people and that makes me very happy. 🙂

I took very few pictures at the conference, I was too busy! Luckily Lolli has great pictures and video from one of the most fun and crazy things I have done in a long time! Saturday night’s closing party was the Smurf’s Dance Party sponsored by Ubisoft. The highlight of this party was the dance competition. several of us formed #teamleticia on Twitter before heading to the conference. We were all decked out in 80’s neon-several even had hand-knitted legwarmers! The competition was stiff! Round 1 we played Just Dance 2, Round 2 was The Smurfs Dance Party and Round 3 was Just Dance 3! I am happy to say that #teamleticia came in 2nd place (and won some cool Ubisoft prizes).

If I have succeeded in piquing your curiosity, I suggest you hop over to Lolli’s blog to view the hysterical photos and video of #teamleticia in action!  In case you need more enticing…#teamleticia was comprised of my Twitter friends @ResourcefulMom @LittleTechGirl @CiaoMom @1MomOf5 @ColoradoMom @DadStreet @TechSavvyMom and myself! I need to give extra props to Josh @DadStreet because he was the only guy brave enough to take part in the competition.
