Tiny Prints Christmas Card Giveaway

October is here and that means it is time to start planning our Christmas cards. if you’ve been around The Mom Maven long you know we always get our card from Tiny Prints. I love the creativity and quality of Tiny Prints cards and I always get lots of compliments on the unique cards we send out. This year my real quandary is finding photos for our cards. I think I’m going to have to plan a family photo session as soon as Jordan gets home in early November because I just don’t have many photos of the family or the kids this year, I guess that is what happens as they grow up and start heading out of the nest

If you have been a reader here for more than a few months, you know of my love for all things Tiny Prints. Last year I got tons of compliments on my creative Christmas cards and everyone wanted to know where I had ordered them from. We used Tiny Prints for Jordan’s graduation announcements this year too.

Tiny Prints has a VERY user friendly website which makes the process of choosing and ordering your cards very easy. The hard part is choosing which of their designs to choose. It’s Christmas Card Time Again

Yes, it is already that time of year again. Time to take our Christmas card photos and get those cards ordered so that I have time to address the envelopes and get them to the post office before December 24th! My goal is actually get the cards in the mail by December 10th so we’ll see if I get that goal accomplished. This year I plan to use 3 photos on our card 1 of hubby and I that was taken on our cruise, a picture from Jordan’s senior picture photo shoot…which I still need to schedule, and one of Aaron running sound or playing drums.

Even though I haven’t taken all the pictures yet, I’ve narrowed down my Christmas card design down to 3 from Tiny Prints. I am very picky about what my Christmas cards say. I usually pick one with a Christian message-Christmas is after all the day we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If I choose a more whimsical design it will NEVER say “Happy Holidays”, “Season’s Greetings” or “Merry X-Mas” and it won’t have Santa Claus on it. I love shopping on Tiny Prints website because I can narrow my choices by number of photos, color, photo orientation and a bunch of other variables all of which make shopping for Christmas cards simple.

Here are the 3 designs I’ve narrowed it down to:
Sheer Collage: Ash-Of course, with this one I’d have to add a 4th photo…

Merry Medley: Dark Gray Which would also require a 4th photo.

Holiday Gift Guide: Tiny Prints Cards

I send Christmas cards every year…last year I was really late in getting them out. This year, they are already here! Now I just need to take the family photo on next week’s Disney trip, print the photos, address the envelopes, buy the stamps, put the stamps on the envelopes and mail them, phew! Unfortunately, they didn’t. According to FedEx-they never received the box. I contacted Tiny Prints and they re-printed my cards and sent them out and I received them later that week! That was great customer service.

Holiday Gift Guide: EnGreet Cards

I love sending cards. Be it holiday cards, birthday cards, thinking of you cards-I send them. So when I had the opportunity to try out EnGreet Greeting Cards I thought, “Why not?” Engreet has a wide selection of cards for every season, holiday or occasion. I chose to order a personalized anniversary card for my in-laws. They celebrated their 45th anniversary last week and I sent them this card:

For me it was a new experience to choose a card online, personalize it and have the card sent directly to the recipient. It was an easy process and my in-laws like the card very much!

I searched through the friendship and encouragement cards to find some to be shipped to me so that I could use them in the future to send to my friends. Honestly, I had a tough time. The encouragement cards were rather lame and to me…off color or crass. The friendship cards were ok and unfortunately most of the religious cards were just that…religious and/or Catholic not the kinds of Christian/Scriptural/Inspirational cards I would normally buy. I did find one card I found touching and I actually bought 2 of the same card to go in my card file for when someone special needs to know how special they are to me. I know everyone has different senses of humor but most of the humor on the EnGreet cards I found more offensive than funny. Your mileage may vary
