Review of March Goals

Business

• Pageviews are way down this month I didn’t even hit 10,000. I know part of this is because I was offline 4 days straight while I volunteered at Friendraiser but it is still frustrating.
• Thankfully, the Type-A Challenge for March still hasn’t been posted because I still haven’t gotten to February’s yet!
• I got some work done on my ebook but I am still behind schedule

Personal

• I did better on my steps in March but I am still having trouble even hitting 5000 a day on most days.
• Water, I did much better on. Now I just need to keep it up.
• I hardly read at all in March even though I enjoyed it so much in February.

Spiritual

• I did not finish the Covenant Bible Study on time. I have 9 days of work to finish but I really hope I will finish it by Easter. I always spend noon-3pm on Good Friday in the Word and worship so this year I will be focusing on completing this Bible study.
• I decided not to sign up for the next online Bible study, partially because I was behind on Covenant. Instead, I’m going to start Thrive by Mark Hall after Easter.

Household

• With Jordan leaving last week we are in the midst of shifting chores around.
• I’m getting better at completing my daily chores.
• We have also gotten more work done in the den/office.

April 2015 Goals

Business

• Get up to 12,500 pageviews.
• Spend at least 8 hours working on my ebook.
• Launch my Young Living Essential Oils Business.
• Get caught up on the Type-A Challenges.

Personal

• 5,000 steps a day minimum. Start doing a Leslie Sansone workout 3 days a week to help reach this goal.
• Get to 64oz of water a day, every day!
• Read 30 minutes a day.

Spiritual

• Finish the Covenant Study.
• Thrive is a 30 day devotional so hopefully I will be 75% of the way through it by the end of April.

Household

• Daily chores.
• Keep the kitchen sink clean.
• Continue meal planning.
• Move the white dresser into the den/office and hang my whiteboard over my desk.

As I dug through my analytics for this post I found one very interesting tidbit. I had 7 visitors find my site from Wikipedia. I know 7 isn’t a big number but Wikipedia is a pretty big deal. As I researched further I found out that my 8/8/11 post about Jake and the Neverland Pirates is cited in the entry for Jake and the Neverland Pirates! This really made me happy!

2. ContestGirl sent 71 people to my giveaways.

3. GiveawayScoop sent 45 people to my giveaways.

4. ReedyCreekRadio.com sent 14 to visit my site. I listen to ReedyCreekRadio and I hang out in their chat room to talk Disney whenever I can.

5. MomSpark sent 12 people over. I was included in a post on their site over a year ago!

I am using a much different process for my social media this year and it seems to be paying off in some categories but not others. I am having more success in G+ than ever before so I count that as a win!

2012 Blog Goals

• Finish the re-design-I need to get my header fixed and I accidentally deleted some important badges from my sidebar that I need to reconstruct
• Engage my readers-There are a lot of you out there, and for that I am very thankful. Unfortunately, very few of you respond or leave comments-unless I’m running a giveaway. Leaving meaningful comments on blog posts is how readers tip the author. When you interact with posts I write and topics I cover, I know you are interested too. I’d love to know what subjects in the realms of parenting, homeschooling, family entertainment and family travel you would like to know more about so please, leave a comment on this post letting me know.
• Crack the 1000 subscriber mark. I know it isn’t all about numbers, but I have been hovering in the mid-900s for a very long time.
• To complete the 2012 Blog Dare (I’m already behind-this is actually the post for January 1st!)

Twitter: To be more active. My Twitter usage declined the second half of 2011.

Facebook: To get more conversations going on my Facebook page.

Google+: To learn the best way to use this tool and to set up a page for my blog.

LinkedIn: To learn how to use this more effectively.

Pinterest: To finally get my invitation so I can check this new hot spot out.
