I am so excited! September was the best month so far this year for The Mom Maven. Not only are my blog traffic stats great but my content has been picked up and featured by other outlets. Last night my Cheesy Potato Chips Recipe was #1 on TheNeeds.com food page! I’ve been doing the happy dance since last night 🙂 I put a lot of work into this site and it is awesome when I get noticed, especially by other bigger sites.
I need to thank you because one of the stats that is up in September are my comments. In the blogging world, comments are currency. When a post creates a conversation in the comments and brands that visit a site see that they understand that you have a true community and they like to work with blogs that are active communities. So, thank you for being involved and for commenting. Comments make me happy!
Last month I told you I was so excited to learn more about G+ at Type-A Con. Unfortunately that was the only session I attended that was a flop. Everyone I talked to about that session was sad because they didn’t learn anything and most of us walked away confused. I did get some great advice from my room mate Sara from AllInAnIowaMomsDay, that I will be putting into practice and I will see if those numbers start to climb.
