Pasta Roni Parmesan Copycat Recipe

My Pasta Roni Parmesan copycat recipe has more garlic than the original but it suits my family and hopefully it will suit yours too.

  • 3 tsp olive oil
  • 3 TBS butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 1/2 box angel hair pasta
  • 1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese shredded
  • 3/4 cup half and half


  1. In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat until melted.

  2. Add the garlic and stir for about 1 minute, don't let garlic burn or it will get bitter.

  3. Pour in the chicken stock, turn heat up to high until liquid comes to a boil.

  4. Turn the heat back to medium, add the uncooked pasta and cook for 4-5 minutes until al dente.

  5. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted.

  6. Stir in the half and half then let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
