Happy August 1st and Happy Win it Wednesday Giveaway Linky Day! I can’t believe it is August 1st! One month from today my youngest son, 23 year old Jordan, gets married! Last Friday he closed on their house and he will start slowly moving stuff in next week. Where has the time gone? We will be official empty nesters next month.
It’s August so that means the local kids go back to school in 12 more days! In 27 days Ron and I head out on our Florida to Michigan and back road trip that will include Jordan’s wedding festivities, a visit to the Ark Encounter, some other fun stops, and 4 days at Walt Disney World for my travel agency’s annual training and meet-up. We will be gone 13 days, I’m looking forward to visiting states I’ve never been to. We haven’t road tripped since 2001, a lot has changed so this will be an adventure. Ron hates driving with the GPS telling him what to do. I did recently learn that you can customize and print AAA Triptiks online and you don’t have to be a AAA member, so I’ll be doing that as soon as our trip home is finalized.
