Happy Win it Wednesday Giveaway Linky Day! I hope you are having a wonderful week. It is my last week in Phone Central for the spring fundraising season. I love my work, even the 14 hour work days but this week I’m a bit stressed out.
This Sunday, Palm Sunday, is our annual Spring Picnic and Egg Hunt at church. This is one of the biggest weekends of the year at our church, and I feel guilty that I’m not at church getting everything ready.
The lessons I’m in charge of preparing are ready and the volunteers have been scheduled. There are hundreds of prizes to be sorted, the sanctuary needs to be decorated, and many, many more tasks need to be completed before 7am on Sunday morning.
Thankfully, we have a great team of volunteers and I’m sure they are working hard, I just hate missing out on the fellowship as we work together. I plan to get there around noon on Saturday and work til everything is done. Sunday we will set up the prize tent before church so that it is ready for after the Egg Hunts take place.
We usually have 30-40 1st-5th graders on any given Sunday. Last Palm Sunday we had 120! This year we are planning for 160! Please pray that God brings in the families that need a church home and are seeking His love. We are so excited to serve our community!
