Happy first Win it Wednesday Giveaway Linky of Spring! Here in Tampa Bay we actually had winter temps this past weekend, it was so nice. Today our high is 78 and this weekend we will be in the low 80s. I was hoping it would be a bit cooler for this Sunday’s activities.
This Sunday, Palm Sunday, is our annual Spring Picnic and Egg Hunts at church. Instead of 3 services, we have 1 service! The adults meet outside under a huge tent, Kids church takes over the sanctuary VBS style and K church moves to the Kids church room. This gives every class ample room to combine the services. After church we have a huge BBQ picnic and then egg hunts for all ages birth-adults. We also have a prize tent, games to play, and free popcorn and cotton candy. It is a lot of fun and our biggest outreach of the year. In 2019 we had over 900 people on campus! Of course, last year’s event was cancelled so we are extra excited for this year.
