Happy Win it Wednesday Giveaway Linky day! I hope everyone has thawed out from last week’s polar vortex! Here in Florida we have soared back up to near 80° already! I’m hoping for a little more cooler air to visit us before the 8 months of heat set in.
The first half of this week has been quiet as I try to recoup from last week’s business. Last Saturday was our annual Volunteer U at church. We had 165 current and potential volunteers come out to be trained and inspired! We had a super hero theme this year with the tag line, “Answer the Call”.
We spent last Thursday and Friday painting and building sets as for the sanctuary as well as creating our Kid’s Ministry booth. I was exhausted by the time I got home Saturday afternoon but it is all worth it to build up our volunteers so that they can share the love of Jesus to our community.
