Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Win it Wednesday Giveaway Linky Day! I hope your Thanksgiving preparations are well under way. Today my focus is on preparing the bread for the stuffing and creating a new dessert.
Our Thanksgiving will be much different this year…and was actually cancelled for a while 🙁 My mom passed away August 31st of this year. My dad passed away 5 years ago this month. Aaron, Summer, and Harmony are spending Thanksgiving in Tennessee with Summer’s family. Jordan and Savannah are spending Thanksgiving in Michigan with Savannah’s family. Ron and I are spending Thanksgiving with my sister and her family.
My sister doesn’t cook much, so before she invited us, she ordered Thanksgiving dinner from the Honey Baked Ham company. I was asked to bring mom’s stuffing, dessert, and cranberry sauce. That’s easy. We are jellied cranberry sauce in a can people. It’s got to be in the shape of a can for our family, it’s tradition!
It will be a different kind of Thanksgiving without my parents, my kids, or my granddaughter, but I’m sure it will be a nice day giving thanks for all the blessings we do have. I pray your Thanksgiving is full of food, family, and fun.
