Happy Win it Wednesday Giveaway Linky Day. If you’re like me and took a long holiday break, you might still not feel like you are back into the swing of things in the new year, I sure don’t. I’m doing my best though.
Speaking of the holidays, I hope yours were great, mine sure were. We spent time with family and I received two gifts that I had given up hoping for. The first was an apology. Seventeen years ago, someone in our family tried real hard to break up my marriage and kick us out of the family business. It was a devastating time for me. Through counseling and prayer we were able to move on with our lives but that person has never been a bit remorseful. In early December, God showed this family member what they did to me and allowed them to feel all the emotions and hurt that I did. This shook them to the core and they were truly repentant before God. Just before Christmas we got together and I received the apology I had long given up hoping for. We are now in the process of rebuilding our relationship!
The second gift was the announcement that my son, Aaron and his wife, Summer are expecting!!! They have been told multiple times that they can’t conceive or carry a baby to term. They have experienced 10 miscarriages including 3 failed IVF treatments. My granddaughter, Harmony Iris is expected to make her appearance in early July!!
To say it has been a miraculous Christmas season would be an understatement. It is all just more proof that when you allow God to guide your steps, He leads you to blessings.
