While I was blessed to be able to keep my ovaries and as such have yet to begin menopause, I know that sex after menopause is different than it was before. Since there was a 50:50 chance of me losing my ovaries during my hysterectomy I had done some research pre-surgery about being thrust into menopause and all that it could entail. The changes that could happen to my sex life were of concern to me and I am glad to be a part of an online community that is helping to educate women.

We women deal with many physical and emotional changes during and after menopause. Some of these changes can take a real toll
on our relationships, including our sex life. To complicate matters, it’s often difficult to find straightforward, trustworthy information about how to deal with issues like changes in our libido, pain during sexual intercourse.
