I love good barbecue and I especially love good ribs. I usually only get ribs when we go out to a barbecue place, I have never cooked them at home. When we have ribs at home it is because our friend Bob makes them. Bob makes wonderful ribs. Unfortunately, Bob moved away a year and a half ago but hopefully Bob and family will be moving back soon, everything hinges on a job. Please pray for Bob’s job to move him back to Florida!

Anyway, last month Publix had ribs on sale and I bought a rack. I planned to call Bob and ask him how he makes ribs but that didn’t happen. Instead I scoured the internet and found several recipes and as usual, concocted my own. This recipe has a vinegar base so it is a Carolina barbecue recipe. Yes, there are different types of barbecue. Carolina is not my favorite but since I wanted a crockpot recipe, this is what worked best. These ribs were so easy to make, I promise, you can do it too! When Bob moves back I’ll have him teach me how he makes ribs and I’ll add his recipe here too.
