<p>Last week when I shared my <strong><a href="https://themommaven.com/2019/09/teriyaki-beef-with-rice-recipe/">Teriyaki Beef with Rice</a></strong> recipe I warned you I was on an Asian kick and a ramen dish would be next! Well, today I introduce to you&#8230;Ginger Chicken with Ramen. </p>

<p>I did something different with this recipe, instead of using fresh or ground ginger I used <strong><a href="https://oily.life/cindyschultz/young-living/en_US/product/ginger-vitality">Young Living Vitality Ginger Essential Oil</a></strong>! One tablespoon of ground ginger is equal to 1 drop of the Vitality Ginger Essential Oil so it was a very easy conversion in this recipe. I just receive the Ginger Vitality order free with this month&#8217;s <strong><a href="https://oily.life/cindyschultz/what-is-essential-rewards/">Essential Rewards</a></strong> order so I couldn&#8217;t wait to try it. Don&#8217;t worry if you don&#8217;t have the oil on hand, I list the other ginger measurement in the recipe as well.</p>



<p>This Ginger Chicken with Ramen recipe is very easy to make. The ginger sauce is a marinade so I recommend making it up in the morning and letting the chicken marinate all day long for the best flavor. The cooking time is only about 10-15 minutes.</p>

Bring marinade to a boil and allow to boil for about 5 minutes, until it starts to thicken up, stirring occasionally.</span></div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-56345-step-1-5" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;"><span style="display: block;">When the water is boiling, add the ramen noodles, discard the flavor packets. <p>I&#8217;ve been on an Asian inspired food kick lately. We&#8217;ve had <strong><a href="https://themommaven.com/2016/05/hawaiian-huli-huli-chicken-grilled-pineapple/">Huli Huli Chicken</a></strong>, <strong><a href="https://themommaven.com/2017/05/hawaiian-burger-teriyaki-mayonnaise/">Hawaiian Burgers with Teriyaki Mayo</a></strong> (I could eat those every day), <strong><a href="https://themommaven.com/2014/06/easy-recipes-asian-bbq-pork-chops/">Asian BBQ Pork Chops,</a></strong> and now Teriyaki Beef with Rice. I&#8217;m thinking something ramen will be next. </p>

<p>The thing with Asian food is it often requires a lot of ingredients or non-traditional cooking methods. I have gotten pretty good at re-creating recipes and making them easy to make. I&#8217;m just a mom cooking for my family in my tiny galley kitchen so I have to make do with what I have.</p>



<p>I was a bit nervous about this teriyaki beef with rice recipe because I have a lot of trouble cooking <strong><a href="https://amzn.to/2Lo1GSI" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" aria-label="rice (opens in a new tab)">rice</a></strong>. It always sticks to the pan. I actually considered borrowing my daughter-in-law&#8217;s Instant Pot since I&#8217;ve heard it is simple to cook rice that way. I decided to put my big girl panties on and learn how to make nice fluffy white rice. I did a lot of research and&#8230;it actually worked. This was some of the best white rice I&#8217;ve ever eaten.</p>

Keep rinsing until the water coming out of the rice is clear. Use your finger to move the rice around in the strainer.
