For years, The All Stars were our go-to resorts. They are the most affordable resorts on Disney property and they meet the needs of families with children. Each trip we would choose between All Star Movies, All Star Music and All Star Sports. Each resort is expertly themed and very colorful with a food court, arcade, a few pools and a playground to round out the amenities.
Here is a collage of some of the icons at All Star Sports.
The All Stars, being Value Resorts have rooms that are a bit smaller. They fit 2 adults and 2 children comfortably but they are a tight squeeze for 4 adults. If you have a larger family, the family suites at All Star Music sleep up to 6 people comfortably and may be a better option. With convertible couches and chairs, as well as a kitchenette and 2 bathrooms, the family suites are a great option for a family of 5-6, or even 7 if one is in a crib.
The only real downside to the All Stars is that they share buses. All 3 resorts share the bus so especially during peak morning and evening bus rides, the buses are very crowded and If you are getting on at All Star Sports, you may have an extra long wait because the bus can be rather full before it gets to you!
