I hope you had a great Thanksgiving! We did mom’s turkey was moist her stuffing perfect and the apple pie was delish! I actually succeeded at taking 3 days off from work and relaxed too! Dad and I went shopping at 3:45am on Black Friday and he scored a great deal.

I’m still under a no exercise order from the doctor so other than checking out the Shake Weight my sister brought over, I’ve not exercised in 8 weeks! I got another round of labs done this week and I’m hoping that things will look better and I can start at least some exercising. I haven’t weighed in in 8 weeks either so I was excited to see that, even after Thanksgiving, I’ve only gained 1 pound!!

This week I’ll be drinking my water and doing a lot of walking, since we are headed to Disney World. I have warned my family I will need to take breaks and rest whenever my body tells me to. What are your fitness goals for this week?

Wow, I have to say, 8 weeks of not exercising plus Thanksgiving and only a 1 lb gain? I would be happy with that 🙂
I hope you get the go ahead from your doctor soon.
    Have fun at Disney World!!

The shake weight? How was that? I hope this next round of labs is good. Good job on keeping the gain to just a pound. That is really hard to do when you can’t work out.

Ohhh, so interested to hear what you think of the Shakeweight. My brother had one sitting on his desk, and says he loves it for workbreaks (he works from home).

    Happy Walking!

It sounds like you are making good food choices. Without exercise you must eat less calories to off set it all.

Very interested to hear what you think of the shake weight because all I can think of when I hear it is the Saturday Night Live skit about it…You should do a vlog talking about it!

I’m curious to hear more about your thoughts on the Shake Weight… I keep seeing it and wondered… I’m sorry you are still not released for exercise, but you are still doing GREAT!
