Last week I received an interesting box in the mail, it was filled with an assortment of goodies including socks, candy, razors, baby wipes, a puzzle book and more. As I dug deeper, I found a letter from one of my favorite companies, Febreze.

Treat the Troops Box

This is a sample of a Treat the Troops box. Febreze has partnered with Operation Gratitude and has a goal to donate 50,000 Febreze Set & Refresh products to be placed in the care packages from Operation Gratitude. It is easy for you to get involved too. Just visit the Febreze Facebook Page and like their page. Then look for the “Treat the Troops” tab and click on it to donate 1 Set & Refresh unit. Next, make sure you hit “Share” so your friends can also help treat the Troops.

Watch this video about Operation Gratitude, it is a bit long but it is very heartwarming.

There are other ways you can get involved too. Visit the Operation Gratitude and see how you can donate money, products, time or letters to the project. I am going to be writing letters to the troops to thank them for their service and I can’t wait to get started!

What are you going to do to support our troops? Click on the Facebook page? Write letters? Donate money? Products? Organize a drive in your school, community, church? Leave me a comment and let me know.

Disclosure: I received a Military care Package from Febreze for the purpose of this post. All opinions are 100% mine.

With family and friends over seas right now I know just how much these boxes mean to our troops. We have done boxes through my sons school, we send out expired coupons to bases over seas and my family has also donated money and volunteer time this past year.
