One of our favorite holiday traditions is attending the Candlelight Processional at Epcot. We have been attending for years and we try to go a few times each season. We have seen many narrators over the years and they truly have an impact on if the show is good or great. Of all the narrators I’ve seen over the years, my top 3 would be 1. James Earl Jones 2. Phylicia Rashad 3. Sandy Patti. There are also some who I never care to see again, but I won’t list those here 😉

Planning our annual December Disney vacation always revolves around who is narrating the Candlelight Processional which nights. We will be at Disney December 4-7, 2014 so this year our choices are 12/4
Jonathan Groff (The voice of Kristoff from Frozen), 12/5 – 12/6 Whoopi Goldberg and
12/7 LeVar Burton. So, this tells me we are either starting or ending our vacation at Epcot.

In case you don’t know what Candlelight Processional is-Candlelight Processional is one of the most beloved holiday traditions Walt Disney World Resort, with the joyous retelling of the Christmas story by a celebrity narrator, accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and glorious mass choir. Candlelight performances are at 5, 6:45 and 8:15. It is always a delight to hear the Word of God proclaimed at the American Gardens Theater at Epcot!

I’ve never gone to this, but I’ve always wanted to (maybe when my child is a little older). This year LeVar Burton and Neil Patrick Harris would be my choices, and I would have loved to have seen James Earl Jones. #CapitolKids
