Happy Win it Wednesday Giveaway Linky Day and Happy Valentine’s Day Week! I hope you are all well and warm. Unfortunately, I think we have seen the last of the cold and even cool weather here in Florida. I hope I’m wrong but…I doubt it. We are currently at mid 60s in the evening and low 80s during the day, which is about 10 degrees warmer than my happy place.
Ok, enough about the weather, lets talk about the changes here on the website. Last year I did a refresher course of Pinning Perfect. This is the class that had originally helped me organize my Pinterest plan. It had been a few years and I wasn’t diligently following the plan, and Pinterest had several changes so it was time for a refresher.
During that refresher course, I decided it was time to change the colors and styles of my pins. I found this lovely color palette that just spoke to me and I’ve been using it in my graphics ever since, with a lot of success.
Fast forward to January 2020, when I received an email invitation from a former mentor of mine, Cindy Rushton, to join a 31 Day Jumpstart Challenge. There was a lot involve in this jumpstart but part of it were 20 challenges to complete. You were expected to complete at least 1 challenge during this time frame, I completed 3! One was to update my blog’s look. I spent hours designing the new look with my updated colors from my Pinning Perfect class so now everything is cohesive. It was a lot of work but I am so happy that the challenge gave me the push I needed to get that and other projects I had been putting off, done.
1. Make sure the link is to the giveaway post, not the home page of your blog. Links to home pages will be deleted.
2. Put the end date in the title of your giveaway.
3. Link to an image of the prize, not your blog button.
4. No more than 3 giveaways per website per week please!
5. If you post a giveaway enter at least one giveaway someone else posted. This is just one way to play nice with others 🙂
