Happy Win it Wednesday Giveaway Linky Day! Happy midway through VBS week day! Yes, tonight is night 3 of VBS at RiverLife Church! I have been planning this week for months and we are having a wonderful time! We are using the Power Up curriculum from Think Orange so everything is video game themed!
On Monday night we had team leaders race around the sanctuary in a real life Mario Cart race! Tuesday night we had a life size game of Space Invaders! Tonight we are playing a large group interactive video game called Dodger which is like Frogger and Crossy Roads! The kids and volunteers are having so much fun!
We themed each classroom after a different game so we have Mario World Missions, Tetris Truth Builders Bible, MineCrafts, Pac Man Snacks and our game time takes place in the Arcade! While VBS is a lot of fun, a lot of learning and giving takes place too. We are learning about how we can Power Up in our relationship with God by reading our Bible, Praying, and talking with others who love God. Our missions project is with Because International and their Shoe That Grows campaign, We are hoping to raise at least $2000.00 to buy 100 pairs of Shoes that Grow for children in third world countries!
