Happy Win it Wednesday Giveaway Linky Day and Happy Crunch Week! Well I’m in VBS crunch week, I don’t know about you. Our VBS is next week, July 22-26, 6:30-9:00pm. I am the volunteer VBS director and honestly, I’m behind schedule on planning due to circumstances beyond my control.
Every night this week we will be at church building props and sets to decorate all the rooms of the church. During the day I have to re-do the order of service for each opening and closing rally, create tech scripts for lighting, sound, and ProPresenter, re-write the scripts for each opening and closing rally, organize all the supplies for the 5 classrooms, create pre-service activities for each of the nights, organize all of the registration information for volunteers and kids. Phew! I think that is all I have to do. Please pray for me this week.
Yes, it is a lot to do and I really don’t have much help on the administrative tasks. I may have to leave prop building to the others so I can spend some evening hours organizing supplies and registration info. I know VBS is worth it so I’m willing to give of my time and talents to bring kids closer to the Lord!
