Happy Win it Wednesday and Happy March 1st! I can’t believe that in 3 days Aaron turns 24! How can I be the mother of a 24 year old?? We don’t even get to celebrate this weekend because we are all too busy to get together 🙁 I am so excited he and his wife are going on a quick 3 night cruise this month to celebrate his birthday! We will all get together later in the month and celebrate with friends and family.
Growing up is tough. Everyone is so busy, it can be difficult to get together. My baby sister turned 50 last month and we haven’t even been able to celebrate that yet. I think when we get together on Easter we will be celebrating her February birthday, Aaron’s March birthday and Ron’s April birthday all at the same time! This is especially tough on my mom who, of course would love to have us all together more often. For her, 3 of the 4 grandchildren are adults, 1 married, 1 away at college, 1 working full time at a church, and the fourth is in high school. We all need to adapt, but it can be difficult.
