5 Top Recipe Posts of 2016
5. Oreo Cookie Ice Cream Cake
I made this Oreo Cookie Ice Cream Cake for Aaron’s birthday in March. Then for Ron’s birthday in April I changed it up with his vaorite Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream. It was delicious both ways.
4. 3 Envelope Crockpot Roast
The 3 Envelope Crockpot Roast is my favorite new dinner entree of 2016. I love this simple, delicious recipe. For years I was afraid of making roasts and now with easy recipes like this one I have learned how easy they are.
3. Crockpot Carolina Barbecue Ribs
I made these Crockpot Carolina Barbecue Ribs last spring when Publix had ribs on an awesome sale. If you like Carolina barbecue, ribs don’t get any easier than this recipe. Cook in the crockpot and finish on the grill.
2. Crockpot Garlic Alfredo Chicken
I you love garlic, this Crockpot Garlic Alfredo Chicken recipe is for you. I will warn you, it has a very strong garlic flavor, Jordan loves it. This recipe is easy to make, the chicken and sauce cook in the crockpot and then you cook the pasta on the stove top as usual. It is a garlic twist to your usual Chicken Alfredo dinner.
1. Walt’s Balls (Grape Jelly Meatballs)
I am so excited that Walt’s Balls is the number one recipe on The Mom Maven for 2016. This recipe has a very special family story to it. I hope you will click through and read the story and make this recipe for your next party. Just the other day I got a tagged in a Facebook post from my cousin in New Hampshire. I hope you have enjoyed and pinned/yummed/stumbled/facebooked/tweeted all of these delicious recipes and the others that I shared in 2016. I’ll see you in 2017 with more great recipes.
