Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts skinless, boneless
  • 10.75 oz Campbell's Tomato Soup
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 TBS corn starch
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 TBS dried basil or more to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese shredded

Instructions

  1. Line the crockpot with a crockpot liner for easy clean up.

  2. Place the chicken pieces in the bottom of the crockpot.

  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the soup, cream, corn starch, garlic, basil, and pepper.

  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken. Flip the chicken over so that sauce is on both sides. Use a large spoon to cover the chicken in the sauce if necessary.

  5. Cover and cook on low for 3 hours 45 minutes.

  6. Remove the lid, sprinkle on the cheese and replace the lid. Continue cooking for 15 more minutes or until cheese is melted and internal chicken temperature reaches 165° F.

  7. Serve with a side of spaghetti and garlic bread.
