Yum! This cheddar bacon ranch chicken casserole is an easy and delicious week night dinner that the whole family will enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz medium shell pasta
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pkg dry Ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 3 oz real cooked bacon pieces
  • 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken always keep some on hand in the freezer
  • 1 cup French's Fried Onions

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to directions on package, 

  2. Preheat oven to 360°

  3. Lightly grease a 9"x 13" baking pan.

  4. While pasta is cooking, in a large bowl mix together the cream of chicken soup, dry Ranch dressing mix,, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and bacon.

  5. Add the chicken to the soup mixture and stir to combine.

  6. Once the pasta is cooked and drained, add it to the large bowl and fold in to the mixture.

  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan. Spread to the sides using a silicone spatula. Sprinkle the French's fried onions on top.

  8. Bake for 25 minutes. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

Make sure you always have shredded or chopped chicken on hand in your freezer. Move it from the freezer to the refrigerator in the morning so it will be ready to use in the evening.
