Shepherd's Pie Fries

Shepherd's Pie Fries is an easy week night meal for the whole family.

Ingredients

  • 28 oz Crinkle Cut French Fries
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 6 oz Tomato Paste
  • 8 oz Beef Broth
  • 1/8 tsp minced onion
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 8 oz Frozen Loose Corn thawed
  • 4 oz Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

  1. Bake the French Fries in the oven according to the package instructions.
  2. As the fries bake, brown the ground beef in a skillet with the minced onion and garlic powder.
  3. Drain the grease from the meat.
  4. Add the broth, corn and the tomato paste to the meat. Bring to a simmer. Cook until the sauce is slightly thickened.
  5. When the fries are done, remove them from the oven and make sure the oven temperature is at 400°.
  6. Place the fries in a 9x13" baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Top the fries with the meat mixture.
  8. Sprinkle the cheese on top and bake for 5 minutes.
