Crockpot Carolina Barbecue Ribs

These ribs are easy to make because they start in the crockpot and finish on the grill.

Ingredients

  • 1 rack of ribs about 3 pounds
  • Pork Rub I use martin County Magic
  • 1 1/2 tsp Mesquite Liquid Smoke
  • 1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
  • Barbecue Sauce I use Sweet Baby Rays

Instructions

  1. The day before you want to eat your ribs, place them on a foil lined baking sheet. Rub them down well with your Pork rub and then wrap them up tight in the foil and refrigerate over night.
  2. Five hours before you want to eat mix together the Liquid Smoke, Vinegar and Soy Sauce in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Cut the ribs into 3-4 sections to fit into the crockpot.
  4. Line the ribs up around the edges of the crockpot.
  5. Cover and cook on low for about 4 1/2 hours.
  6. Preheat your barbecue grill to medium-high heat.
  7. Baste the ribs with the barbecue sauce.
  8. Grill for about 7 minutes per side.
