Skillet Corn

This recipe is an easy way to change up your typical corn.

  • 3 cups corn fresh off the cob or defrosted frozen
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 TBS sugar
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 TBS flour
  • 1/4 cup milk


  1. In a 10 inch skillet over medium heat combine the corn, water, butter, sugar, salt and pepper.
  2. Cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Whisk the flour and milk together in a small bowl until smooth.
  4. Pour the milk mixture into the corn.
  5. Cook for 5 more minutes, stirring constantly.
