Simple Spaghetti Carbonara

Simple Spaghetti Carbonara is an easy, delicious pasta recipe the whole family will enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb uncooked spaghetti
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened and cubed
  • 3/4 cup Italian dressing
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti as directed on the box.
  2. Cut the bacon into 1" slices.
  3. In a large saute pan, cook the bacon on medium-high heat until crisp.
  4. Place the cooked bacon on a plate and drain the grease from the pan.
  5. Wipe the pan with paper towel and return to stove over low heat.
  6. In the pan mix together the bacon, garlic, cream cheese, Italian dressing, and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Cook until cream cheese is melted and ingredients are well incorporated.
  8. Drain the spaghetti.
  9. Pour the spaghetti into the saute pan and mix until it is covered with the sauce.
  10. Serve with salad and garlic bread.
