Honey Barbecue Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings/pieces
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups Barbecue Sauce I use Sweet Baby Rays
  • 3 TBS honey
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 425°
  2. Place a wire rack in a baking sheet with sides.
  3. Spray the rack with cooking spray.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
  5. In another bowl, mix the flour with the salt and pepper.
  6. Rinse the chicken pieces under running water and pat dry.
  7. Dip a piece of chicken into the egg mixture.
  8. Dredge the chicken in the flour.
  9. Place on the wire rack.
  10. Bake the wings for 25 minutes.
  11. Turn wings over and bake for 25 more minutes.
  12. About 5 minutes before the baking time is finished, you need to prepare the barbecue sauce.
  13. In a saucepan heat the barbecue sauce and honey over medium heat. Stirring continuously until sauce is hot.
  14. Remove wings from oven.
  15. Pour sauce into a large bowl with a lid.
  16. Put a few wings at a time in the bowl, secure the lid and "toss" the wings in the sauce.
  17. Place the wings back onto the wire rack.
  18. Bake for 5 more minutes.
  19. Serve with French fries and Ranch dressing.
