This past week was CRAZY! I did workout 3 days, yay me! I did eat over my calorie allotment 2 days-Thursday’s trip to Downtown Disney included stops at Ghirardelli for ice cream and Bongo’s for dinner and Saturday’s cookout & birthday party for my nephew…oh well. The good news is I maintained and this is a new week.
This week’s topic is a favorite recipe and mine is one of my favorite easy recipes too- Italian Marinated Pork Chops. There are 2 ingredients fat free Italian dressing and pork chops.
- Put the pork chops in a large zip top bag.
- Pour the dressing in the bag.
- Zip up the bag and then knead the marinade into the meat.
- Place the bag in the refrigerator for 4-24 hours (the longer the better) kneading occasionally.
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Line your pan with tin foil for easy clean up.
- Place the pork chops on the foil and cover in the marinade.
- Place in the oven and cook for 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven, flip the pork chops over and top with marinade.
- Place in the oven and cook for 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven, flip the pork chops over and top with marinade.
- Throw out any remaining madinade.
- Place in the oven and cook for 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and serve with your favorite healthy side dishes.
I have been making this for years and it is the only way my husband likes pork!

Sounds yummy!!!! This might be an inexperienced cook question, but what temp do you cook the pork chops? It’s so easy to overcook pork chops that I rarely even try. KWIM?
Glad to hear you maintained! Although I must admit I’m salivating over Ghiradelli ice cream 😉
Thanks for joining Weight Loss Wednesday!
