You know I am a life long Disney fan, and my first park visit was in 1972, but over the last few years I have experienced a lot of firsts at Walt Disney World and they have grown my love for all things Disney. The firsts I am talking about are the first time I meet online friends in real life. For years my friends thought we were weird loving Disney as much as we do. I’ve never known anyone who goes to WDW as often as we do…until I found the online Disney community.

In 2002 I joined a Yahoo group which was then called Disney Dollarless and is now known as The Mouse for Less. This group showed me that I was not alone in my obsession. I am still a member today…though I haven’t been active for a while. Fast forward to 2008 when I joined Twitter, Facebook and the blogosphere…there are Disneyphiles everywhere! In 2010 I was blessed beyond measure to meet many Disney friends in and around the parks and I quickly learned that Disney is all about the people.

Unfortunately, I don’t have names for all of the people in all of the photos but I want to share some of the photos of people I met in 2010.

I also realized while putting this together that there are a lot of friends I have met in the parks whom I have no pictures of. This is a goal of 2011…take more pictures of friends! So…if you are at Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, beware! I will be stalking you with my camera.
