Disclosure of Material Connection: I received one or more of the products or services mentioned  for free in the hope that I would mention it on my blog. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. Last month I told you about my Vionic Zen Walkers and how much they helped me get through the Run or Dye race I did. Today I have the privilege of telling you about a pair of pretty Vionic sandals that arrived just in time for summer. I have wide width feet so finding sandals, especially wedges can be difficult.

About the Maggie by Vionic

Maggie brings a little bling to a wardrobe with patent uppers and geometric metal and perforated detailing.

  • Manmade uppers with microfiber-covered footbed.
  • Lightweight, flexible EVA midsole absorbs shock, reducing stress on feet, ankles, and knees.
  • Faux wood grain wedge with rubber inserts on the outsole for improved traction.
  • Our innovative podiatrist-designed Orthaheel Technology provides superior orthotic support, relief and stability which helps realign the feet back to their natural position.
  • Research supports Orthaheel Technology’s success in reducing over-pronation, which can help relieve associated common aches and pains, such as heel pain (plantar fasciitis), knee pain and lower back pain.
  • The Vionic wedge collection includes an enhanced forefoot contour in each footbed for greater comfort and hours of wearability.
  • Recommended by Dr. Andrew Weil.

Mom Maven’s Thoughts

As soon as the shoes arrived I tore open the box and tried them on. I was ecstatic to find out that they actually fit! I have had a lot of trouble ordering shoes online for my wide feet. I love that the sandals have hook and loop closures, this makes them adjustable to my exact needs. I wore them around the house a bit to see how they felt, and I was impressed that my feet didn’t hurt.

I love these shoes so much, I was excited to wear them to church. I sing on the worship team so that meant I was standing for a total of about 2+ hours of the 4 hours I was at church. My little toes felt a bit pinched by the end of second service but my knees, hips and lower back were not in pain like on a typical Sunday morning. Not only are these sandals comfortable, they are adorable too!

These sandals look so nice and comfortable. I LOVE your nail polish color. Like you, I have a wide foot too (especially my right one since my car accident.) These look like they are well worth trying. Thank you for the review.

Crystal, the nail polish is OPI “Miss Piggy’s Big Number” from their most recent Muppets Most Wanted Collection.
