This is Chicken Soup for the Soul week here at The Mom Maven! Get ready for lots of books and lots of great giveaways.

I am a bookworm, I love to read-especially love stories. Lately I’ve been so busy I haven’t been able to curl up with a novel and really spend time enjoying a good book. This is why I love Chicken Soup for the Soul: True Love 101 Heartwarming and Humorous stories about Dating, Romance, Love and Marriage. The essays and short stories in the Chicken Soup for the Soul books are perfect for me to read in short bits of time.

The stories are broken down into categories How we Met, Adventures in Dating, Meant to Be, The Proposal, The Wedding, Keeping the Love Alive, Lessons in True Love, Happily Ever Laughter, Gifts from the Heart and Love Everlasting. One of my favorite stories is “When You Wish Upon a Star” about a 4th grader’s dream of marrying the 9th grade boy that lived next store.

Since yesterday was Valentine’s Day I thought this would be the perfect book to kick off our week of giveaways! I have 2 copies of this book to give away! I am going to keep the entries for these giveaways simple. Leave a separate comment for each entry and make sure a valid e-mail or Twitter name is attached to the comment. The winners will be chosen Monday 2/22/10 at 10:00pm ET by random.org. US entries only.

Since I haven’t yet met my true love, it’s impossible to answer your question. 🙂 But I keep looking and hoping! Would love to win this book. I’m a believer in true and abiding love.

I know this is not romantic by any means… But I met my true love at the pool hall. I was on a league, and he was a pool player there. We have been together for 15 years, and still going strong! Thanks for the opportunity to win this book!

I met my true love in high school. He wanted to be more than friends, but I only wanted to be friends. He told me in HS he was going to marry me and I didn’t believe him. Here we are 10 yrs later, happily married!

I met my husband (true love) at college, we were invited to a party by a mutual friend and starting dating not long after. That was almost 10 years ago and we love each other just as much as we did then now.
