Mushu’s Thoughts

If you are a regular reader, you know that the dog in the picture isn’t Mushu, it is Mushu’s best friend, Beartrap. You also know that if Beartrap is in the picture, Mushu didn’t like the treat. I tried, on two separate occasions to give Mushu the treat and both times she sniffed it and walked away, never to return. The treat is rather large in size so I broke it into smaller pieces to see if she would eat it that way and still, I had no success.

Next we went across the street to visit Beartrap, she’s like Mikey, she’ll eat anything…and she did. She chomped away on the treat for several minutes and seemed to enjoy it. We gave the rest of the bag to her owners so they could feed them to her.

We received the “small dog” variety of the treat which says it is for dogs 15-25lbs and Mushu is about 10lbs. The treat was large and thick, kind of rubbery and difficult for me to break into smaller pieces. Mushu didn’t like the smell but I’m sure her tiny teeth would have had trouble with the treat, even broken into smaller pieces.

Do you brush your dog’s teeth? Do you give them a “brushing” treat? I’d love to know!
