This past year was a great year for recipes on The Mom Maven. Thanks to referrals from Pinterest and Yummly, the majority of traffic to my site was through recipes. My #1 recipe this year had almost 30,000 views! That number is staggering to me. In case you are new here, I thought I’d give you a quick re-cap of my top 5 new recipes of 2015.
#5 S’mores Dip
This simple S’mores Dip saw a lot of traffic this fall. What I like about it is that it’s an easy way to bring the flavors of S’mores inside so that you can enjoy them year round!
#4 Chorizo Skillet Dinner
I was actually very surprised when the Chorizo Skillet Dinner showed up in the top 5. My photographs in this post are horrible. I guess lots of people like skillet meals. This one features some spicy Chorizo sausage which makes it not your typical, bland meal.
#3 Copycat PDQ Toffee Dip
Yum! I need to make some of this Copycat PDQ Toffee Dip for New Year’s Day. Not only is it easy to make and delicious, it’s a great way to get the kids to eat more fruit. I also love that even PDQ Restaurants re-tweeted my recipe!
#2 Crockpot Amish Chicken & Noodles
My Crockpot Amish Chicken & Noodles recipe soared to number two thanks to being featured in an online Amish newsletter! I know, wrap your head around that for a moment, because I can’t. Anyway, I am thankful for them sharing my recipe. If you are looking for some delicious comfort food, give this recipe a try.
#1 Crockpot Ranch Pork Chops
My Crockpot Ranch Pork Chops recipe has totally kept my blog afloat this year! There has been some discussion about how much water to add so I did recently modify the recipe. I use a full can of water but some readers have said that the sauce is too thin. If you want a thicker sauce…use less water 🙂
Those are my top 5 new recipes of 2015. I post recipes every Friday. If you are ever hunting for something new, visit the “Easy Recipes” tab at the top of the page. It will take you to the landing page where you can find all of my recipes neatly organized.
Happy New Year!
