The Pirate Rooms

This year Disney added to their already amazing resort offerings some specialty themed rooms. The Pirate Rooms at the Caribbean Beach Resort are fun rooms that any pirate would be happy to stay in. The pirate rooms do cost about $30 per night more than the other rooms at the Caribbean Beach Resort but for a special treat for that pirate fanatic, it is well worth the cost.

Created with flickr slideshow.

The headboard and footboard of the bed look like they were once their own pirate ship. The keg shaped refrigerator and the crates that are actually dresser drawers are beautiful examples of Disney not missing a single detail. The pirate privacy curtain and the ship etched into the shower wall are amazing. This may well be one of the coolest rooms on Walt Disney World property.

What do you think? Is this room cool? Would you-or your little pirate-like to stay here? Leave me a comment and let’s talk.

These rooms are fantastic. We are huge Pirates of the Caribbean fans. I had never heard of these rooms before–how do you find out about the themed rooms? are there other themed rooms at other property resorts?

At this point these are the only specially themed rooms. I learned about them while attending Florida Mom Bloggers Mixer that was sponsored by Disney.
