I hope you had a great weekend, I sure did. Saturday hubby and I deep cleaned the living room in anticipation of decorating for the holidays! We’ve been so busy the last few years that we haven’t decorated inside the house. This year, that changes. I’ve told hubby that we will be decorating inside the house the week of Thanksgiving…and he agreed! We probably still won’t get a tree this year because there just isn’t a place to put one. I will probably just set up my small table top tree like we used to do.

Saturday evening we attended a powerful prayer gathering at our church. Sunday was my last day as interim Children’s Pastor and we had a great time learning about putting others first. I will still volunteer in kids church on Sundays that I’m not singing on the worship team but our Children’s Pastor sabbatical is over and I was honored to lead the children in her absence.

Here we are in the second full work week of 2015 and I am still trying to find my mojo. The work is getting done, because I am organized and I have a detailed schedule but I’m just not feeling it like I usually do. It could be because Tuesday marks 4 weeks with this annoying head cold or that we are 1/3 of the way through my office renovation or that I am having trouble adjusting to not having Aaron living at home any more. In all it is probably a combination of all three. I hope your new year is off to a great start and hopefully my mojo will return soon.
