Back in February I introduced you to Scotts Bonus S which is a lawncare producr designed specifically for sounthern lawns and southern weeds. I also introduced you to the issues we have had with my lawn. Just in case you missed that post, or don’t want to click back to read it right now, I’ll give you a quick overview of Scotts Turf Builder Bonus S.

About Scotts Bonus S

The new and improved Scotts Bonus S formula is guaranteed to control 82% more types of weeds, including doallarweed and clover. Scotts Bonus S is now safe for more types of southern grasses including St Augustine, Bermuda and Buffalo grass and more. In addition to clearing out weeds, Scotts Bonus S also feeds the grass and strengthens it against heat and drought by building deep, long grass roots. The product is currently available in the Jacksonville and Ft Myers areas.

The Mom Maven’s Thoughts

About a month ago my husband, Ron used the Scotts Bonus S on our front lawn. As you can see from the before pictures below, our lawn was filled with weeds of several different varieties. Some of the weed types died pretty quicky while others took some time to shrivel up and finally die.

Ron said the Scotts Bonus S was easy to apply with a hand held spreader he already owned. The directions were easy to follow and now that he knows how well it works he will be using it on the backyard as well. I’m a bit afraid of him using it on the north side of our back yard because there is no grass there, just clover. Once the clover is dead I’ll need to get some grass seed to make that area green again!

If you love in the Ft Myers or Jacksonville area and battle weeds, I suggest you check out Scotts Bonus S, your yard will thank you.

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Scotts Turf Builder for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I live in Tampa Bay Florida and we have been in the same house for over 22 years. Our lawn has always been a source of disappointment for us. The sideyard on the north side of the house has more clover than it does grass and we have come to tfhe point where, as long as it looks green from the street, we really don’t care. My husband and I are excited to be partnering with Scotts Turf Builder and Scotts Bonus S.

Bonus S is a lawncare product designed specifically for southern grass and weeds. This new and improved formula is the most effective Bonus S even and it is guaranteed to clear out 82% more types of weeds including dollarweed and clover. The new Bonus S is safe for more major southern grass types including St. Augustine (including Floratam), Bermuda (new), Centipede, Zoysia, Seashore Paspalum (new) and Buffalo grass (new). Knowing methods such as seed coating formula might also be more than helpful for your yard.

The new Scotts Bonus S will soon be available at major retailers in the Jacksonville and Ft Myers areas and soon we will be testing it out here at our house. If you live in these areas make plans now to get Scotts Bonus S Weed and Feed for your lawn this spring.

Make sure you are subscibed to TheMomMaven for updates on our Scotts Bonus S trial.
