Back in February I reviewed the movie Gnomeo & Juliet. I said back then that I couldn’t wait to own the movie, well Gnomeo & Juliet is available on DVD and Blu-Ray Tuesday, May 24, 2011. We just finished watching our advanced copy of the Blu-Ray and all of the bonus features….you’re gonna love it!

I thought I’d also show you a clip of one of the bonus features, just to whet your appetite.

I received a copy of the movie on Blu-Ray for the purpose of this post. All opinions are 100% mine.

As you may already know, we loved Gnomeo & Juliet. If you haven’t read my review yet you can check it out here. I am very happy to announce that Gnomeo & Julioet is coming to Blu-Ray and DVD just in time for birthday season around here…May 24th! Here is the official announcement:

Earlier this week I introduced you to Gnomeo & Juliet, the re-telling of the classic tragic love story starring…lawn gnomes. I’m excited to say that I will be attending an advanced screening of the movie and you can look forward to my review on opening day, February 11th. Until then, let’s keep the fun going with a great giveaway!

Directed by Kelly Asbury (“Shrek 2”) and showcasing both classic and original songs by Elton John, the film features the voices of James McAvoy and Emily Blunt as Gnomeo and Juliet, who have as many obstacles to overcome as their quasi namesakes when they are caught up in a feud between neighbors. But with plastic pink flamingos and thrilling lawnmower races in the mix, can this young couple find lasting happiness?
