I don’t get out to the movies nearly as much as I would like to. I do watch a lot of movies on Blu-ray. I had really wanted to see McFarland USA when it was out in theaters but it just didn’t happen. That is why I was so excited to be asked to review McFarland, USA Blu-ray + Digital HD. I am a long time fan of Disney’s sports films and I have had the opportunity to review several of them on The Mom Maven.

While slow at times, this movie shows us that when we work together towards a common goal and respect each other-even our differences, we can reach our goals. I recommend a family movie night that includes some tacos or enchiladas and McFarland, USA . The movie is rated PG and is full of life lessons that you can discuss as a family after the movie.
