Way back when we got married, 23+ years ago, we receives a salt and pepper grinder as a wedding gift. It worked well for a while and then if just stopped grinding. At that point we just went with regular salt and pepper shakers, while they were functional I had often thought about getting another grinder. I have learned that when you own a home there are wants and there are needs and I never spent the $20 to buy another grinder because I thought it was something I could live without.

When I was asked to review the Kuisiware 2-in-1 Salt and Pepper Grinder, I was excited. (I know, the little things excite me). The grinder arrived the other day and I sent hubby to the store for peppercorns and coarse sea salt to put in the grinder.

About the Surpahs Kitchen Scale

This scale is made of tempered glass and is powered by a lithium battery. I weighs items from 2g-11 lbs, most kitchen scales only weigh up to 4lbs. I really like this scale. Not only does it look nice but it has a large LED screen and several functions. In the photo above I was weighing out the chicken I needed so I could make my Parmesan Crusted Chicken.
