Cute and educational are words that describe just about every item available at The Brainy Store. We have spent some time checking out two of their top sellers the Glowberry Bears and the Flashcar Friends.

Summer Lightly and Twinkleton are adorable plush bears that talk and glow! The Glowberry Bears have 2 interaction modes bear-to-child and bear-to-bear. They will talk with your child, giggle and glow when they’re tickled or just glow depending on how your child touches and interacts with the bears.

We have played with our Glowberry Bears for the last week and they would make a great gift for the young child in your family.

The Flashcar Friends a designed for kids 2-5 years of age. The ingenious toys are wooden vehicles that carry two-sided flashcards! There is a whole bunch of Flashcar Friends:

Sadie the ABCs School Bus

Rudy the 123s Recycling Truck

Aerial the Shapes & Colors Airplane

Flash the Animals Fire Truck

I love that these are two toys in one! Your child can play with the vehicle and they can learn their letters, numbers, shapes, colors and animals!

The Brainy Store is offering readers of The Mom Maven 25% off their order if they use they use the code maven25 at checkout.

Disclosure: We received the Glowberry Bears and the Flashcar Friends for the purpose of this review. All opinions are 100% mine. All of these toys will be donated to needy children this Christmas.

I love educational toys and as a homeschooling family we have had tons of them over the years. I don’t know if we have ever had such a cuddly educational toy before but Alphabeasts are exactly that. Alphabeasts are plush, loveable, learning companions created to teach children their ABC’s and how to spell while having fun at the same time.

Each Alphabeast is double-sided with the capital letter on one side of the beast and the lowercase letter on the other. Each beast has its own name and physical characteristics. The 15” plush characters retail for $20.00 each and come with a detachable biographical collector’s card. The Alphabeasts Baby Book Box Set, showcasing the ‘beasts’ in multiple creative illustrations, retails for $16.00. Alphabeasts are available in some stores but right now the easiest way to purchase them is from the Alphabeast website.

I received Moochi (M) and Topsy-Turvy (T) for my review and those were perfect letters because I planned on giving them to my little friend for his 5th birthday and his initials happen to be MTW! My little friend loves his Alphabeasts because they are fun to play with and have the same first and middle initials as he does. Alphabeasts are designed to augment the learning process at home or in-school. Their presence captivates children’s attention and encourages them to participate in meaningful learning experiences. Lessons, games and other activities are only limited by one’s imagination when incorporating the Alphabeasts into a child’s routine or playtime.

Like Alphabeasts on Facebook.

Disclosure: I received 2 Alphabeasts for the purpose of this review…which I gave away to my 5 year old friend.
