Mushu is a blessed dog, she gets to review treats, toys, clothes, and more for several different companies. She is also a funny dog because she is the only dog I have have ever know who often saves her treats for later. Most dogs when offered a treat, or food in general will eat it immediately. Other than her one regularly scheduled treat, her bedtime treat that she gets when she comes inside after going potty before bedtime, she often saves her treats. She will place it on her bed or on her blankets on the couch and come back for it later, presumably when she gets hungry. That isn’t usually a problem, except when her friend Beartrap gets into our house or Bailey, my son’s dog comes for a visit. Those two dogs find every saved treat within seconds, much to Mushu’s dismay!

This month Mushu has been trying Rachel Ray Nutrish DeliCuts Pepperoni Treats. I knew Mushu would love these for 2 reasons. First, she LOVES pepperoni, and second her wet and dry food are both from the Nutrish line. Mushu took her first DeliCuts Pepperoni Treat to the couch where it sat for a while before she decided to gobble it up, typical Mushu!

I like giving her these treats because US Farm-raised beef is the first ingredient and they don’t contain corn, wheat, artificial flavors, or meat by-products. They look and smell like pepperoni too! Mushu has been eating the Rachel Ray Nutrish products for a few years and they don’t aggravate her sensitive tummy.

We get our Rachel Ray Nutrish DeliCuts Pepperoni Treats from Chewy.com where a 3oz bag is only $2.99 or, if you setup auto-ship you can get them as low as $1.42! Also, all orders of $49 or more gets free 1-2 day shipping! How nice is it to be able to shop from home and have all your pet needs delivered to your front door?

Mushu’s Thoughts

When we first gave Mushu the full snack stick, she didn’t know what to do with it. She smelled it, licked it and left it there. Later in the day, I broke off a piece for her, and she gobbled it right up. I sat with her and kept breaking off pieces that were 1-1.5 inches long and she ate them right away. She likes small food. That being said, the treats are soft and were very easy to break into smaller pieces for my little dog. Since they contain no wheat or corn they didn’t upset her tummy either.

You can get your dog some Newman’s Own Organics Chicken & Sweet Potato Recipe Snack Sticks Dog Treats by clicking the link and ordering them from Chewy.com.

Disclosure: I am a Chewy.com blogger. I received these dog treats for the purpose of this review. The opinions expressed in this review are 100% mine or my dog’s.

As a blogger for Chewy.com I receive lots of treats for Mushu to try. I am happy to say that most of them she has loved and Belly Bites are one of her favorites. The day the box arrived I gave her a treat and usually she will sniff a treat, play with it a bit and often the treat will sit there a while before she decides to eat it, not this time! The Natural Balance Belly Bites get gobbled up as soon as I give her one!

About Belly Bites from Natural Balance

Made with Duck, Peas & Garbanzo Beans! Natural Balance Belly Bites are delicious, chewy treats that are baked with flavor and nutrition. Every Bite satisfies the belly with goodness and love!

Key Benefits:

Grain-free formula perfect for dogs with sensitivities

Semi-moist texture dogs love!

Made with high-quality ingredients

Made in the USA!

Mushu and Mom Maven’s Thoughts

Obviously, Mushu loves these treats. She knows what the bag sounds like and as soon as I touch the bag she perks up. She gobbles this treat down and her sensitive tummy hasn’t has any trouble with them because they are grain-free.

Belly Bites are a great treat to use during dog training because they are small and semi-moist which makes them easy to break into even smaller pieces during training sessions. Belly Bites are available for $6.99 for a 6oz bag at Chewy.com.
