										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It&#8217;s a new year and I am on the search for some healthier recipes to make and mix in with some of our not-so-lean favorites, everything in moderation, right? For me pork is a meat that always needs help, a marinade, rub, sauce, or stuffing to ad some flavor to this boring, lean cut of meat. I found several recipes for Cuban Spiced Pork Chops so I researched Cuban spices and learned that the staples of Cuban cooking are garlic, cumin, oregano, bay leaf, salt, pepper, and cilantro. I have most of those in my spice cupboard so I went to work.</p>
