]]> Last month I bought some Nilla Wafers to make my Eclair Squares and there was a yummy looking recipe on the box. I made that recipe last week and now I am sharing it with you. Here one of my easy recipes- Choco-Banana Mallow Torte, which I tweaked a bit.

Choco-Banana Mallow torte

: Choco-Banana Mallow Torte

Ingredients

  • 40 Nilla Wafers
  • 3oz semi-sweet baking chocolate
  • 3 cups miniature marshmallows, divided
  • 2 cups milk, divided
  • 1-2 bananas sliced
  • 1 pkg (3.4oz) vanilla instant pudding
  • 1.5 cups thawed Cool Whip, divided
  • 0.5 cups semi-sweet morsels

Directions

  1. The recipe calls for a 9″ springform pan. If you don’t have one a 9″ round or square pan will also work.
  2. Arrange about 24 Nilla Wafers flat side down, on bottom of a parchment lined 9″ springform pan.
  3. Microwave the semisweet baking chocolate, 1 cup marshmallows and 1/2 cup milk in a microwaveable bowl on high 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute. Then stir until smooth. Pour over wafers in pan.
  4. Stand remaining wafers, rounded sides out, around the edge of the pan, pressing slightly into chocolate to secure; top with banana slices.
  5. Beat pudding mix and remaining milk in a medium bowl with a wisk 2 minutes. Stir in 1 cup whipped topping and remaining marshmallows; spread over bananas.
  6. Refrigerate at least 4 hours.
  7. Top torte with remaining Cool Whip. Sprinkle chocolate morsels on top of torte.
  8. (If using springform pan) Run knife under warm running water; use to loosen dessert from rim of pan, remove rim.
