This month’s Beauty Box 5 shipment was chock full of products to pamper myself with! I seldom take time to enjoy pampering so this box forced me to relax a bit and take care of me a bit! You can subscribe to Beauty Box 5 too and get great products delivered to your doorstep once a month.

I am not usually really picky about shampoo. I have a few different kinds I rotate through depending what I have coupons for and what is on sale. This month I tried Organix Coconut Water Shampoo & Conditioner and WOW! I need to get myself some bottles of this stuff! It truly transformed my dry, color-treated hair into soft manageable locks that actually maintained its style throughout 2 steamy Florida days! I am sold on this!

I love nail polish and this was the first time I had ever tried Nicka K polish, but it won’t be the last. While the color I received was a bit muted for my personal tastes, the polish went on thick and smooth and only required one coat.

The samples of the Eslor Introductory Collection Calming Kit were divine! The cleanser, scrub, mask and cream all work together to provide beautiful, hydrated and protected skin.

I loved the scent of the Lavender and Chamomile Vita Bath body wash. It left my skin feeling clean and moisturized. I needed a new body wash in my travel bag so this has already made its way into my bag for my next adventure.

Last but not least is the Glam Natural Mascara. I seldom use mascara because I have trouble applying it, I always have. I guess I missed that topic at a teenage sleepover or something. The Glam Natural Mascara went on smooth and not clumpy at all. I have sensitive eyes so I was glad that this product is gluten-free, paraben-free, hypoallergenic and vegan.

I used the Moisture Myst after showering every day for a week and I am pleased to tell you that it left my skin smoother and silkier than it had been. For me the only negative I have about the product is the scent. The Tropical Paradise has a lot of coconut in the scent and honestly…I can’t stand coconut scented anything but, for the sake of the review I used it daily (see what I do for my readers). In my 2 weeks of using the mirra shampoo and conditioner I have found that my hair is healthier with fewer split ends. The body wash and lotion left my skin soft and clean and the micro-remodeling cream has kept my skin smooth and moisturized. The wrinkle reducing eye cream has helped decrease the puffiness around my eyes. The downsides of the mirra products are minimal but the shampoo and conditioner are tea and sunflower seed scented, for me that took some getting used to. Also, living in Florida I need sun protection in my moisturizer and the micro-remodeling cream doesn’t have any. The biggest negative for me is that mirra is a Kroger exclusive brand and the closest store to me is over 400 miles away so I don’t know how I am going to get more when I run out!
