Elmo and friends are coming to the St Pete Times Forum in Tampa and the Youkey Theater at the Lakeland Center in Lakeland soon! You know your littles want to see their cuddly Sesame Street friends live on stage so keep reading to find out how you can win a family 4 pack of tickets!

Calling all super heroes! Super Grover has lost his super-ness! Never fear, the fabulous five Super Heroes are here — featuring Elmo as Captain Fuzzy! Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Zoe and all their furry friends are on a quest to put the “super” back in Super Grover. Singing and dancing their way through fun lessons on healthy habits, they discover how exercise, rest, nutritious food and good hygiene can save Super Grover — and turn your children into Super Heroes, too! You’ll be feeling good when Elmo’s Super Heroes! comes to town!

Sesame Street Live is a larger-than-life, musical touring stage production featuring Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie…and more. Mandatory 1st EntryTell me a favorite Sesame Street Memory. Mine is November 10, 1969-I was at Harborlight Kindergarten and we all went into Reverend Wilbur’s office to watch the first episode of this new educational television program. As a 5 year old, it was magical just to find out there was a television at church (how things have changed!). Watching the Muppets and their human friends interact was amazing.

    I did not watch Sesame Street when I was growing up. I started liking Elmo when I bought my friend Rebecca’s son a Tickle Me Elmo and almost did not want to give it to him for his gift. Thank goodness Bob worked at Hills at the time and I was able to get one for me. Then when we got Matthew, he loved my Elmo’s.

    When I was in 1st grade we had a migrant student at our school who didn’t speak any English. She was desperately telling the teachers “Agua, agua!” and no one was responding. I walked up and told them, “She wants a drink of water” and I was so proud because I had learned that on Sesame Street. I was proud of a lot of things I learned and now my 2 1/2 year old is in love with all my old favorites and the new characters as well! Sesame Street Rocks!

    My favorite memories of Sesame Street are watching it before we started our day each morning. We would sit and watch along with singing. Sesame Street introduced all 3 of my kids to counting and the ABC’s. We all had our favorite characters that we loved to watch… I would love to go back to those times 🙂

    I loved sesame street as a kid! I never got to see any of the characters live until I was an adult, but I got to watch my child meet Elmo for the 1st time. The look on her face was priceless. She saw a cardboard cut out at BAM the other day and insisted on a picture.
